Cities T-shirts
The Cities T-Shirts started with Malasaña in Madrid on 2007, we wanted to make a T-Shirt for our neighbourhood Malasaña, a mix of trendy, alternative, underground and cool shops, cafes and bars. We feel so identified with our neighbourhood that we wanted to make a T-Shirt without being so straight forward.
On our first edition we sold out. After the successful Malasaña T-Shirt we wanted to expand the idea to other neighbourhoods that share the same spirit as Malasaña. El Raval in Barcelona, Bilbao La Vieja in Bilbao, Naka Meguro in Tokyo, Williamsburg in New York and more coming soon.
The Malasaña T-shirt was featured on Select G. The 7th edition of the Spanish Graphic Design annual published by Index Book.

“The Anarchist’s Wife” is the story of Manuela who is left behind when her husband Justo fights for his ideals against Franco’s Nationalists during the Spanish Civil War.
He is deported to a concentration camp, and upon his release, continues the fight against nationalism in the French resistance. Years, pass without a word from him, but his wife never gives up hope of seeing him again.

GETXOPHOTO is a photography festival that takes place in the city of Getxo-Bilbao. It differs from other photo festivals by exploring formats and uses of unconventional mediums and spaces. On its second year “mutations” was the central theme of the festival.
With the use of a calligraphy brush we draw the logo and typeface for all the identity pieces to suggest this transformation and celebration of Getxophoto festival
